I had the chance to run an impromptu session using Mythras (d100, formerly RuneQuest 6) with some friends of varying experience with it (none to some) and we found ourselves caught up in an Autumn-shrouded highlands region pursuing a most personal vendetta.

The video features commentary and annotations for newcomers, has a quick pace, and a short run-time.

Sean Hillman and I discuss some confusing things about situations in play, specifically, what does preparation have to do with them. Seems easy, right? You prep it, then the group plays it - hey, the real (digital, video) games do it all the time, so we should just do that, right?

The comparison has been around for a long time; I first encountered it in an early edition of RuneQuest. It may even have entered that status of "everyone knows that," but I haven't run into much reflection on its content.
